How wholesalers, manufacturers & trading companies can use Internet Marketing

Published by cijaye under Uncategorized

Want to earn lots of money online? Then, start your website and concentrate on Business to Business (b2b) marketing, rather than B2C (business to consumer).

How do you make money with B2B, as manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors or trading agents? There are a variety of internet research tools to assist B2B marketers to locate best selling B2B product searches, especially tips on how and where to find big volume buyers.

These searches can be done in B2B portals. The best one we are using, and it’s free, is NOT alibaba.com, but another popular one which can tell you the popular related searches. For instance, if you are looking for jewelry, the online tool will display the related popularly searched term (which is normally very different that the keywords you initially will think of): jewelry offers, jewelry importers etc.

Some of these portals also enable you to find volume buyers. For instance, in one of these B2B portals, i located an Eyptian buyer who was interested to purchase 50 tons of frozen food. So how can you make money if you are not selling this type of frozen food?

You can act as a trading agent, and find sellers who are selling this kind of stuffs, and tell them you have a customer from Egypt who is looking to buy the stuffs and ask if they are interested.

An alternative way is to post a Buying Lead – where it’s an intention that you want to buy this type of product and then get interested sellers to approach you. So in no time, you can be doing B2B trading!

Companies that sell to other businesses are discovering that the Internet offers great opportunities for:- a. Generating new leads b. Acquiring new customers c. Retaining current customers

All the online marketing strategies that works for Business to consumer (b2c) market, can be applied to the business to business industry, after it is readjusted to meet your goals or B2B objectives.

Many research companies have published their survey findings that B2B companies No.1 goal for intenret marketing is to generate qualified leads. Also high on their list, though second to leads, are branding goals. In a Forrester research found that 40% of B2B marketing executives consider online marketing to be very effective for building their company’s brand image.

Other B2B marketing strategies that each company should use is search engine marketing (search engine optimization via Free natural rankings or Pay per click advertising), video marketing, and blog marketing. Among these BtoB internet marketing tactics above, over 85% of those interviewed in USA and Europe consider their most effective technique to be Search engine marketing

If you can master these strategies, you will surely have a competitive edge against your competitors, the majority of which are only using one or two of these strategies, if any.

Factors to Consider in Sticker Printing for your Product

Branding is an important part of marketing. This is the step you take to give your product an identity, a name by which people will remember it by. Giving a catchy or classy name largely depends on what your product is for and what it looks like. Having said this, labeling your product is another important pace prior to launching it to the market, and this procedure is made easy by sticker printing.
Printing is the process of transferring graphics, texts or both onto a surface, for stickers this is done with a paper label stock with an adhesive back. Most commonly used today are offset and digital ones.

As a child, you may have had a fascination for stickers with your favorite superheroes or cartoon characters on them. Now that you’re older, stickers may still play a valuable role in your life, specifically in your career. With their versatility, the use of stickers can crossover from a kid’s collection item to a tool that will serve as your product’s name tag.

Four factors, more options

There are four factors that you need to look into when you decide to use sticker printing for your labels. These are not limiting factors. In fact, these are the aspects that you can look into to learn more about your options so you can have eye-catching stickers that would complement your product’s name and image.

1. Material

Your labels need not be restricted to paper substances. You may try materials like plastic films and vinyl. Unlike paper, films and vinyl materials will not absorb water. These two prove to be more durable especially if your product needs to be stored in a refrigerator or in wet areas. Making water-proof stickers eliminates the risk of losing the label during accidental spills or exposure to harsh weather conditions involving rain and humidity.

In addition to that, plastic materials have a characteristic sheen on the surface so that’s a plus for appearance. This can be further enhanced by requesting for UV coating. This type of coat provides high gloss so the label becomes more vibrant.

2. Design and color

Speaking of vibrant, colors are important if you want to achieve a label that’s pleasing to the eyes and easy to remember. If your company name is printed in all black, you may want to be generous with the color of everything else around it such as the logo and other texts found in the label.

You may include the face of your company mascot or certain images relevant to your product and company. Adding graphics improve the overall appearance of labels since people tend to respond more positively to things with visuals. Some even add 3-D and hologram effects to create more impact.

3. Content

You can go from as simple as just citing the product’s name to as comprehensive as adding details like nutrition facts and ingredients for food, components, storage temperature and dosage for medicines, and materials and care instructions for tools, just to name a few. Some labels also include bar codes.

4. Size and shape

The resulting size of your label depends on the contents. The shape is the one that you can add a touch of creativity to. You can opt for more traditional shapes like rectangle, square, diamond and circle. Bolder choices include stars, heart and some asymmetrical shapes.

Always take note of the image you want to give your product. The classier you want it to be, the more you should stick to geometric shapes.

Sticker printing offers good labels with plenty of options. It’s important to make the most out of these four factors to give your product the label that suits it.

Remember, when consumers get to the store, your label is what they need to immediately spot… before other items with attractive labels grab their attention.
